The Sanford Center for Aging at the University of Nevada, Reno offers a variety of programs designed to promote the quality of life among Nevada residents in the community. Some of the programs offered include:

Home Security Checks During Vacation
The Reno Police Department offers courtesy vacation checks on your home. Please contact Reno Direct at: 775-334-4636 a few days in advance before leaving on your vacation. This service is FREE of charge.

Ward 4 Neighborhood Advisory Board (NAB)
Want to make a difference in your neighborhood? Attend a Ward 4 NAB meeting! The Ward 4 NAB meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the North Valleys Library, 1075 N. Hills Blvd., Reno, NV. Agendas and minutes are posted at the Ward 4 NAB website as they are approved.
